The rampant "theft" of content has nothing to do with delays in the release windows. It's all about the studios trying to maximize what they can get by derivitizing their films into more profitable bite sized pieces. We will have delays whether selectable output is allowed or not. Considering that most films are available via grey resources well before the film ever comes out on DVD, it's dishonest to suggest that delaying PPV would impact piracy one bit.
