Over one out of every five Internet users visited Amazon.com during the month of June, accoriding to the latest data from web analytics firm comScore. In its latest list of top-trafficked retail and auction sites, Amazon came in first with 282 million unique visitors for the month.
Coming in second was eBay, with 223 million visitors and over 16 percent of all Internet users in the world. Chinese retailer Alibaba Corporation was third with more than 156 million visitors.
Rounding out the top 10, computer retailers Apple and Hewlett Packard came in fourth and seventh, respectively. And the U.S.' largest bricks-and-mortar retailer WalMart was the Internet's sixth most popular retail destination in June.
