I can understand that cost for operations increase over time and that as your customer base grows there is sometimes a need to increase cost to provide service. In this case I dont see this being the reason, I have been a Nextflix member almost as long as the service has been available to the public and do both DVDs and streaming content but with this hike in cost being near double what I pay now I dont think that I may be staying for long. It might be different if there was more content for the streaming side and that new releases would be available immediatly but that does not happen. I will have to start looking at what options are out there, but I think that this move on the side of Netflix may hurt them in the long run with the customers that have been with them for a long time.
