On Tap: Cable’s New Shows [Multichannel News]

I
wrote on Tueday about American's increased appetite for television. If you're looking for something new to watch, I'd like to share Multichannel's listing of new cable shows premiering in the next few months. This listing only includes new shows that are original cable programming. Shows like the Discovery Network's
One Way Out, which kicks off on March 2nd, several original documentaries on HBO, and a new Spongebob special on Nickelodeon are on the list.
Though the new shows aren't linked through to the networks' web sites in this article, some quick Googling will yield information about these shows. Original cable programming is becoming more and more popular, and you next favorite cable show might just be on this list.
Beside "24", most of my favorite shows are on cable. People look at me with some concern when I start talking about America's favorite serial killer, Dexter. Some others? Check out "Big Love," "Weeds" and "Entourage." They're all on Showtime or HBO. I've also been checking out the new series, "The United States of Tara" on Showtime too.
