Weather Impacting Service

The wintry weather is impacting our network and our crews are working round-the-clock to repair damages caused by ice, fallen tree limbs and other hazardous conditions.  Louisville Power reported that 75,000 customers have lost power as of 6 am.  We have seen their and phone company crews working hard to restore service.   So far, this is nothing like the unprecedented effects of Hurricane Ike, when nearly 300,000 Louisville Power customers lost power (knocking furiously on wood) but we are experiencing isolated service outages in specific neighborhoods throughout our service area.

Because of the icy road conditions, regular maintenance (including installations and repair service) may have to be postponed and rescheduled.  Our apologies to those affected but we must do our part to keep the roads clear of nonessential traffic and to reallocate our resources to emergency repairs.

The dedicated men and women at Insight are in emergency operating mode today and will work tirelessly to answer your calls and repair the damages until service is back to normal.
