It's conventional wisdom. When it comes to communicating with the public, most companies take the safest path. They usually play their cards pretty close to their chest. I'm joining the blogsosphere to challenge that "wisdom."

Survey of online HD video services

Which HD video Web service is the best? [CNET News]

CNET profiles the various high definition online video services, comparing the various sites' features for users looking for the best looking quality and value in online HD video. YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, DailyMotion, SmugMug and Blip.tv each offer users HD Flash video, and all are profiled by CNET. Results of CNET's testing are compiled in an easy-to-read chart comparing the features of each video service. YouTube, which has recently added HD quality videos and 16:9 display ratio was judged to be the best of the bunch in HD quality.

With the proliferation of HD video cameras, HD quality online video is quickly becoming very popular. Recently I've gotten my hands on a small handheld HD video camera, and I'm looking forward to posting some videos on my blog. I'll be using this guide to determine whether I'll be using Facebook or YouTube to embed my videos.
